On many many occasions, I have added all the servers I serve to my account. My servers include: COD4 (x3), TF2 (x2), and Minecraft (x2). Every time I log back in after a few days, some of my servers have been deleted. For example, it only shows I have my two TF2 servers, and one of my COD4 servers. What's the deal? Is there a limit on how many servers a single account can have?

Hello,
Do you add them, then turn them offline for a while soon after? Servers are deleted after extended inactivity automatically. If the server was only recently added, it may not take too long to be deleted. If this is the case, I would recommend maintaining a higher uptime rate. ![]() |

My servers are all 24/7 Linux dedicated servers. The only downtime is when I have to restart for updates (or whatever). Any thoughts?

Hello,
Another option would be that someone manually removed the server. This could be any person who has access to change the name of the server. ![]() |

I did give access to another of my admins...but he acts more like a police office for TeamSpeak than a server admin. This guy is so computer illiterate, I know he doesn't know how to change any of my server settings. I have to Teamview into his computer to forward his ports for him!
So then, I post a question. How long would it take for a server to be down to make the tracker disappear? My internet company resets our modem every few nights. I am wondering if that has anything to do with it! ![]() |

Hello,
I do not believe I have seen a server deleted in under 24 hours of downtime but I am not completely familiar with how long it takes. It changes depending on how long the server has been on the website. Is your IP changing whenever your modem is reset? If this is the case, this is separate as you will need to re-add the new IP address each time and start anew. ![]() |

No...even though my IP is dynamic...I have had the same IP for almost 6 years.
But now that we are talking about this. A couple weeks ago I was out of town for a week. I have not checked my trackers since then. I am wondering if we had a cable outtage while I was gone and didn't realize it. Not sure! I will keep a closer eye on this and let you know if it keeps happening! Sorry I couldn't give you more! ![]() |
