Can I get a nickname which is already createt but no one uses it? Because my CS nick is already taken

No it's not possible GT respect all users and in case that some of them decide to back, imagine which mess it will be when he see that his name is changed.

Is there a way to find him and ask him if it is okay for him? It's really important to me to have my nickname what I want it and i respect that you care about your users.

No there is not anyway to normally contact an inactive member unless he/she left some contact info in the forums somewhere.

GameTracker should have an account inactive time period. That if an account is not used for a period of tine, lets say 4 months then that account is deleted and the username becomes available for any other person to use.
GameTracker already has a large stock of inactive users. And it'll keep on growing until some steps are taken.

I agree.But 4 months isn't that much.I know people who have account and use them once a year when their favourite server is down or the have been banned.I don't visit the site very much and maybe if it deletes the unused account for 1 year that would be fair I think? I know it's alot but many people use GT only to search for servers when they need to.

Well this action about removing members will not be taken as a valid one since even our very staff members don't have a right to change from some inactive account name and take it for itself.

There are both the functions to delete a user account and to change the username of an account. However, neither can be done based on the request of another user.

We also do not set arbitrary time periods a user can have a username.
