The legal owner of "America's Best Recruits Bots Server (ABR clan)" (ip: 109.70.149.181:1716) is a gentleman by the name of Andrew Gould.

When Andrew Gould tries to claim the server (which belongs to him) on GameTracker, it is not allowing him to take full ownership as previously (about 5 or 6 years ago) another individual had claimed ownership of this server on GameTracker.com

So could you please advise how Andrew Gould can take full control of the "AMERICA's BEST RECRUITS BOTS SERVER" titled game server?

Also on a related note, in recent days, we have noticed that the GAMETRACKER.com indicator has been showing RED light - advising players that the server (109.70.149.181:1716) is offline, even though the server was online and players were playing the game.

Could you please advise why this problem is occuring and how we can resolve it?

Your server is showing as online right now.

The "real" server owner must follow the same process as everyone else in order to claim their server. If the user does not know how to claim the server, we have instructions conveniently placed next to the claim ownership button.

For your convenience, here are them copy-pasted:

You must claim ownership of this server before you can manage it.

To claim ownership of this server:
Change your server's name to "GameTrackerClaimServer".
For some games renaming the server may require editing the config file and restarting.
Verify that your server is up, running, and displaying the server name "GameTrackerClaimServer".
Click the "Claim Ownership" button.
After you have claimed ownership successfully, you should change the server name back to the original name.

First of all thanks for the reply.

I will convey this message to the server owner to follow the steps you provided.

But regarding our server being randomly shown offline at different times during the day. I can tell you that at this time, 2:24 am EST time GameTracker is showing the server offline. There is the RED light and server is not shown listed as active servers under AA2 games as it normally appears when it is online.

I did a search on our ip address and I see that the server is shown offline on GameTracker - However it is active and running in real.

What could be causing this issue? Please advise. Thanks again.

I would also advise you to check if there is any anti-flood mechanism in your firewall temporarily blocking repeated scans.

I will let Andrew (server owner) check the anti-flood mechanism in firewall.

And in case that is not the issue, we will wait for the fix from GameTracker as per the link you provided.
