Hello Admin,

Please make a support of dynamic dns addresses. So the users who has dynamic IP they can add servers as well ! and this is very easy to do as I'm a PHP web Developer. So can't GT add this stuff?

Whats the point of making that option available, adding everytime when you change ip new server ? Thats will overload the gametracker resources and will take a time to delete all those inactive servers.

So this option surely won't be added.

I am not aware of any plans in the near future to support dynamic DNS. The implementation of course wouldn't be too difficult, however you should consider any abuse measures that would need to be implemented with it.

If you have a server on GT and want to try it, visit the "manage" page of your server. At the bottom of the page is a text area where you can specify a DNS name. Once you specify a DNS name, all URLs related to your server and players will update to contain the DNS name.
