I just had a major break up with my Verizon DSL. I know have a faster cable service through comcast. My problem is steam will not recognize my internet connection. I did some research and tried some port forwarding, but was unsuccessful. Please help me get back on BIA please!

Thank you, but i was hoping to accomplish without spending $30. I am in my router and have gone to port forwarding, but it asks for a start and end port instead of tcp and ucp? i used 173.199.101.109 as the black ops server and 27014 for both start and end. However that did not work so i'm open to further suggestions. Thanks in advance.

COD Black Ops servers are only hosted at GameServers.com. You won't be able to add any other CODBO servers.
