My ip is: 116.197.229.244
I used to have a server added 'L4D2 Singapore' but somehow it disappeared, probably due to inactivity for 1 week+. I don't turn on my server 24/7. I already turn on my server and off my firewall but still the gametracker can't scan my server. Port forwarded: 27015 Please help. |

Are you hosting it locally? If so, do you have a static IP or a dynamic IP? Check with a website like whatismyip.com to see if your IP has changed.

Yeah, hosting locally and ip is dynamic, the ip changes only once per day.
The reason it won't scan my server is due to dynamic ip address? |

Just called up my ISP and they said can't make my ip static unless it is a business broadband service.

If your IP is no longer the one you specified, you would need to add the new IP address. Then, rinse and repeat each time it changes.
You can setup dynamic DNS on GT after you have claimed the server. GT will use the DNS address to check if the IP changes and automatically update the page on the website with the new IP. GT does not offer DNS service itself, but you can seek out services that will do this. You can adjust the records on your own personal domain each time, but there are also services that have programs to automatically detect IP changes and updates the DNS accordingly. ![]() |

Ok, ty Admin.
Will go for the DNS service. I read somewhere it stated server down/idle will be remove automatically. What's the duration I can leave it idle? I only run it on the weekend and public holidays. |

It may very well be deleted with such low uptime. The amount of time varies based on how long it has been on the website. Since the server will be down so quickly after being added to the site, it will likely be deleted.
In your case you probably won't need to worry about DNS. ![]() |
