I was wondering if there would be any support for the x protocol or if there is something wrong my server itself and it not being read by Gametracker.

I have no idea on whether or not it will or should scan fine, but GameTracker will not provide support for tracking servers beyond the legal Steam/Retail/etc. copies of games.
