How do i add banner as i have copy and pasted to module and it just show text on site

You should just need to copy paste the code, however, that is going to depend on if you are using some prebuilt system. Some of those systems don't allow HTML or BBCode, some you just need to enable it somewhere. I would recommend reviewing the documentation for it.
