Server shows on wrong port...

Hi all,

One of my DayZ servers show on the wrong port.

http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/81.19.216.40:2340/

the port really is 2310, so ive no idea why it shows as 2340, i didnt add it as 2340, i added it as 2310.

Any ideas why GameTracker can see my server on this port but not the one its actually on?

Strange.... I obviously dont want to mess with the gametracker setup if it will result in loss of stats as our server is very popular.

thanks
Ryan

If the server was added incorrectly, it would not show up on the site correctly. It was originally added a few weeks ago, so you trying to add it now would not just overwrite it if you added it correctly.

Since the join port is not correct, the server will need to be deleted and re-added. If it was just the query port, I could edit it as is but it is the join port.

I have done this for you. You should notice your rank get back to where it was within a week, as that is all it looks at. You did not have any historical stats since it was only claimed today.

so you have just deleted my server when i specifically said I did not want to do this as I will lose the rank?!!

the server was not claimed today, it been like this for almost 2 weeks.

I have 2 dayz servers in the UK, one was rank #1 in the UK before I had to switch to switch to a new host. So i migrated the stats and somehow migrated the wrong way and sent the server to the bottom of the ranks.

Now on my second server was rank 15th in the world and you now send it to the bottom of the ranks when I specifically said "I obviously dont want to mess with the gametracker setup if it will result in loss of stats"...

Beyond words at the moment.

There was no historical data on the server. If you migrated any stats the wrong way, anything that was not there anymore is permanently gone.

We have no feature to adjust the join port of the page. Your server will regain its rank within one week, considering rank does not look further than that. It is significantly better for you to have the join port issue fixed now, which has been, as the only other option would be to delete it days, weeks, or months down the road and actually loose player stats that you have at that point.

I'd rather users be able to join your server than display false data.

Hope this makes sense.
