1 year old server vanished from your GT database twice

I couldn't find a support system so I am posting this here.
My server 93.119.24.17:27015 (dns: cs.mousesports.ro) disappeared twice today from your site and is now displaying: "The server you requested is not in the GameTracker database".
No one removed it, it just happened.

Who can help me get it back with all the statistics it had bound to it? That would be a big loss for my community since all the statistics (played hours, top kills etc.) were important!

Servers can be deleted in the following cases:

1. Server was automatically removed after extended downtime
2. Server was manually removed by you or any user who has the ability to claim it
3. Server was banned from the site
4. Server was deleted due to minor abuse

If it has been removed today, it was not done by anyone at GT, so you can cross out number 3 and 4.

Unfortunately we are unable to restore statistics that are permanently removed.

If you setup the server on GT with DNS, has the DNS recently changed its A record?

Hello Burn,

1. Server never had downtime
2. Server wasn't removed by me or anyone 100% sure
3. Why would the server be banned from the site? It's a classic cs 1.6 server, it had no comments and the IP hasn't changed at all
4. Abuse of what? No one is posting on the servers page, comments were disabled and only approved by me, the server description was in English and didn't contain any swear words etc.

It was removed yesterday two times, can you please check the logs and see what happened? I am 100% it is some kind of site bug you are having

The DNS hasn't changed in over a year also.

No, as I said it wouldn't have been number 3 or 4.

Since no one else has reported a similar occurrence, it is highly unlikely there is a bug.

Based on your description, I would place my bet on number 2. Does CS have any sort of logging to indicate the server name was changed? If not, as a precaution you may want to change your RCON password.

Thanks for the replies Burn.
I found out someone used an exploit to gain administrative access, changed the hostname, claimed the server and deleted it from gametracker.

I guess since you can't restore any statistics that they will be missed.

PS: one last thing, if you could help me get some info about who did it, would it be possible to check the logs of 93.119.24.17:27015 and see who claimed it/deleted it in the last 2 days? By who I mean what user.. maybe I can get to the bottom of this

have a nice day
