I now added the server with the admin port. That seemed to work, for now.

Yeah it happened again, it says im the owner of DayZ 1-5 (Public/Regular) 114008 ### Welcome to Hell ###. But this isn't my server. Also the query port that multiplay gives me is changed to 27018. Should I change host, because of the query port that keeps changing?

It's up to you. If you do decide to go elsewhere, GameTracker recommends www.gameservers.com for high quality server hosting and support.

If you do need me to change the query port again, I can but we recommend you first contact them again to get it to stay.

Warsaw, Poland or Amsterdam, NL or Frankfurt, Germany would probably be the closest options to Scandinavia. They do have a location in Denmark, but I don't think it is open for DayZ quite yet.

Hi All,

I work for Multiplay running their online servers

Just wanted to clarify the issues you were seeing here and let you know the reasoning behind it.

When DayZ was released it did not have query support that could be set to a port. This means that when a server started on a machine, it used the default port 27015. When a second server on a machine started, it checked for port binding and if it was in use, just used the next number in series (27016 etc). To get around this issue and get the servers working, we had our management system (Clanforge) scrape the process when it started up and grab its query port number.

The unfortunate side effect of this is that whenever your instance restarted, it would have potentially change query port.

Now that proper query port functionality has been added to the game, we have configured it correctly. When your server last restarted it would have grabbed a query port that should now stay the same

Apologies for the inconvenience here, we are doing our best to work with both Bohemia and our customers to make sure everything is ironed out in the Beta!

Please let Support know if you have any further issues with this

All the best

I just got a reply from Multiplay.

Hi There,
This is due to the constant changing of ports for DayZ's query protocol.
We've got a fixed in the works, which should be applied later on today

Regards,

Dan Offord

Yep, that's correct.

All should be resolved now and your query port should stay static.

Please just reply to your ticket if you find any issues tho

Cheers for your patience and enjoy the server!
