The server banners for Just Cause 2 Multiplayer no longer work since the release of 0.1.2, which now uses the GameSpy4 query protocol instead of OGP, i guess this might make a difference.

I've moved this to the bug reports forum for the GT developers to review.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.

Hi darwood,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will be updating GameTracker to accommodate this game/protocol.

Any updates will be posted in this thread.

Any idea when a fix will happen. I am afraid my server banners are deterring people from playing.

Well previously it would show you if the server was online or not, but it would not show you the number of players on the server. It also listed all servers as "password protected" when in fact they were not.

JC2MP was updated a few weeks ago (I just found out a few hours ago) and after updating the server it is no longer tracked by GameTracker.

The server is shown as offline, and password protected, neither of which are true.

How long before a fix? I am going to be dropping my gametracker banners and account very soon, i have a another solution/service ready to take it's place. The JC banners are pretty much useless as almost everyone is running the newer version. I would have thought this would have been corrected a lot sooner considering the popularity of gametrackers and Just Cause Multiplayer.

Hi darwood,

Thanks for your continued patience on this one. We have just rolled out our patch for JC2's new query protocol.

I have updated the server in your profile: http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/jc-mp.gaveroid.com:7777/

Let us know if you have any questions, or notice any further scan issues.

Best regards.

Also,

Please note that the new JC2 protocol does not list player names. You will see the proper player count on the server page and in the banners, but there won't be a player breakout.

Hello,

Unfortunately, all the maps are listed as "Unknown" at the current time. We will consider changing that to "Panau" in a future update.

Best regards.
