My dayz server is rank 90th right now.. and I'm downgrading to a VPS, from a dedi box. My hoster will not let me keep my ip, and I was just wondering what I'd have to do to get my rank switched to the new IP?
The VPS isn't set up right now. Will be going shortly.. Thanks. |

The DNS feature is the only way to move rank. You'd need to claim the server and set up a DNS address in the "Manage" area. Once you do so, if GT detects a change in IP in the DNS to the new one, it will adjust the IP of the page. Note, this will not work if you have different ports.

I have done what you said.. It still hasn't transfered.
Does the old server have to be offline? |

We resolve the DNS name daily. If this server stops responding to stats requests, then we resolve the DNS name more frequently.
