I was curious to see the total number of BF4 servers on GameTracker. So I went here and saw that the lowest "rank" was several servers tied for 7,130.

So one might reasonably assume there are 7,130 BF4 servers listed on GameTracker (or something very close to that, since several servers are tied for 7,130th place).

However! You can also see from this link that it's set to show 50 servers per page, and there are 126 pages listed (excluding page 127 which has only a few "not ranked" servers). 126 * 50 = 6,300. 6,300 is very different than 7,130!

Can anyone clarify this discrepancy? Is it a bug, or am I misunderstanding something?

There are about 6300 BF4 servers online right now. This does not include servers that are offline, either temporarily due to the server owner, or permanently due to the server owner cancelling the subscription from their host. The servers in the search list are only servers online. Give that, you can assume there are about 800 servers that are offline right now in BF4.
