Since the switch to Arma 2 version 1.63 (Steam version), my Dayz Mod servers aren't showing in Gametracker:
http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/192.99.16.163:2332/ http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/192.99.16.163:2352/ Is this a known issue? The servers now report to Steam instead of Gamespy. ![]() |

Hi betterdeadthanzed,
The 1.63 ARMA2 update looks like it will be an issue with GameTracker. We will make changes to accommodate version 1.63. Although, I am not familiar with ARMA2 server administration, so would you be able to provide a little more info? GameTracker knows your servers as: IP:PORT:QUERY_PORT 192.99.16.163:2332:2332 192.99.16.163:2352:2352 Typically the steam query port is 27015 or 27016. I see a response from "KillinZedz PvE Epoch Napf|Slow Zedz|Custom Traders|AI|[VETERAN|" at: 192.99.16.163:????:27016 My questions are: 1. Are both of your DAYZMOD servers listening on a new query port (such as 27016)? 2. If so, what are the query ports for each server? 3. Are you able to customize the new steam query port? 4. Are you able to configure your servers to listen on the old query port, too? (2332 and 2352 respectively) Best regards. |

it should be the same query protocol as arma3 now...
you can set the steam query port in the arma server cfg... i prefer query ports one unit lower than the serverport for example my server is running on 2302 then the queryport is 2301 |

The query port is the server port +1, at least for my servers. So, the query port is 2333 and 2353.

Hi angrygargamel,
Thanks for the info. I am now seeing a response from one of your servers (using the same query protocol as ARMA3) on: 144.76.163.52:2302:2301 We will add support for this protocol to GameTracker. As an aside... do you see any configuration options still for the older gamespy protocol in your server config? Best regards. |

All,
We have updated GameTracker to support the protocol change for both ARMA2 and DAYZMOD. You will need to update the query ports on your servers that were affected. To update, visit the server page, and click "claim server". That brings you to the manage server page, which has a text area that allows you to update the query port. @angrygargamel - I updated one of your servers to confirm that the new protocol is working properly on GameTracker. @betterdeadthanzed - I tried updating one of your servers, but I was not getting a response on server port + 1. Perhaps your firewall is blocking GameTracker? Best regards. |

There are 2 steam related settings in the server config.
steamPort = 8766; steamQueryPort = 27016; steamQueryPort is the one you need to enter as Query Port. works: ![]() ![]() Thank you very much for the fast support! regards ![]()
