Hello and greetings from Bulgaria,

We are a small balkan country where Counter-Strike 1.6 is still played religiously mainly because the large scale professionaly administrated and managed communities I've founded during the past 10 years.

We have our own anti-cheating software, the skill level is insanely high, and most of the players are adults with a lot of experience.

Lately we decided to expand and attract high skilled players from other countries too, and your site is a great starting point for that, however I noticed that in almost every country including ours, there were romanian servers listed with local flags.

Last week I did a little experiment and changed the flag of our Classic International server to brazil and it got reset the very next day, however even as I'm typing this, there are ROMANIAN servers with brazil flags listed, and not only there but in almost every other country where 1.6 is still played!

Please explain why are the rules enforced for us, and not them.

We don't allow people to abuse the system. The location flag represents where the server is hosted so it should be that flag or close to it.

If you locate servers you suspect are abusing the feature, please feel free to report the server by using the Report Abuse feature located on the server page.

I thought it was something automated because the server I experimented with, got it's flag changed back to Bulgaria almost immediately. Strange how somebody reported it instantly while romanian servers still show up in brazil...

Meanwhile locating the abusing servers is easy, they are EVERYWHERE, just take a look:

Like 9 out of 15 aren't with romanian flag, and that is just the first page!
