My servers, http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/rp.smashinglim.es:27015/ and http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/192.99.39.161:27017, currently report as being hosted in Finland, while this is incorrect; the servers are actually hosted in Quebec, and there's a 5,426 km variance between the locations... We're hosted with OVH, and we'd appreciate being ranked as a North American server.
Additionally, the first link used to be ranked the 140th~ most popular Garry's Mod server on Gametracker, but since we switched IPs (by switching the IP that rp.smashinglim.es went to), our rank has reset. Is there nothing that can be done about this? I'll be claiming the two servers shortly in order to prove that I own them. |

Once you claim the servers, you will be able to adjust the location flag to the correct one. The feature to change the flag is in place so server admins can update the flag if the GeoIP database is incorrect.
The IP change from a DNS change will only fully switch to the new page if the new server is not already on the website (or claimed by the same owner). If the new server is already on the website, claimed by someone else or unclaimed, the transition will not finish. When you have time you'll need to claim the new page for 27015 to get it to finish going through. Once you do so, it shouldn't take too long for the server to finish moving over. ![]() |
