The only way to move rank from one server to another is to make use of the DNS feature. To use the DNS feature, go to the page you claimed the server on. Find the DNS option and add your DNS. When the new server is up (with the same ports), point the DNS's IP to the new server and wait for GT to update the page.

What are you trying to enter as a DNS address, on which page, and what is the exact error message?

I have also had an IP address change and need to update our rank to the new IP address. Not sure how this dns works. We also had our port changed by the provider. We we number 1 on gametracker for our dayz server, we've moved everything over to our second IP, which is ranked 599th.

You wouldn't be able to use the DNS feature with different ports.

In your case, you wouldn't be able to move rank to your new server. You'd only be able to use the Migrate Stats feature to move player stats, if applicable. To use that feature, go to the old server (must be claimed by you) and find the Migrate Stats option on the Manage / Claim page. Select the server you want to migrate the stats to (must be claimed by you as well), and migrate. You'd want to make sure to go in that direction, because the receiving end stats are wiped.
