The steps to claim a server are the exact same whether or not someone has currently claimed it.

I successfully was able to 'claim' my server.
But I want to delete my server at GameTracker because we need to get QLstats working on it for Quake Live.
We THINK that GameTracker is messing things up for us to get QLstats working, so we want to delete the server off of GameTracker.

Problem is - in the 'manage server' section of my GameTracker account, the box that you click to 'delete' server has a message saying:

Delete Server
Cannot delete servers with this source type

What?! What does 'this source type' mean?

Servers which are automatically added from sources like GameServers.com have the delete button disabled at this time.

In terms of your issue, I would not imagine GameTracker would be related to that. For GameTracker to be able to look into something like that, would need more specific of what/why is causing it to not work with that.
