Managing GT Team Members - Unable Edit Team as an Admin

Hi All,

Can someone please tell me how or point me to the FAQ that explains how to add or accept requests to join a Game Tracker Team? Its been a few years since I last needed to and I cannot see any self-explanatory links.

I cannot see an edit, manage or similar link admin functions anywhere in the Team, my own profile or otherwise.

I am listed as an admin on the team I wish to manage already, and can recall being able to do this in the past.

Thanks in advance.

There isn't a specific FAQ as far as I know.

From your own profile screen, click on your 'Team' and you will find the following options (under your team/clan name) at the top;

Home
Forum
News
Team Settings
Edit Members
Report Abuse

You need to be the owner of the page in order to manage it.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.

Good catch.
'Admin' doesn't then allow any additional privileges?
Does 'Co-Founder' have additional privileges?

A page owner can change the text name of a particular title all they want, but that doesn't automatically assign permissions. For example, changing the name of a title to "Admin" doesn't give 'admin-like' permissions. Changing it to "Moderator" doesn't give 'moderator-like' permissions. Changing it to "Spider" doesn't give 'spiderman-like' abilities.
In fact, team pages do not have the ability to delegate permissions at this time. Only the page owner can.

No "'spiderman-like' abilities."!
I will add this to the 'Ideas & Requests' Section.

Simplified forum management.
That was pretty much what I expected.
Thanks for clarification.
