Battlefield Vietnam Server v1.2 on Windows 7

bfvietnam_w32ded.exe is the server application. I have 4 ports listening from this application, UDP 15567, 23000, 15690 and TCP 5711. I have verified this with the Windows 7 Resource Monitor.

All of these ports are all open to the Web, I have also verified this with various port scanners both local and remote.

My brother and I also play on the server with no problems, He lives on the other side of the country from me.

I know that there are other 1.2 servers added to this GameTracker site.

I really don't know what else to do now that I have configured and verified my settings.

I am asking for help.

You haven't provided your public IP address, join port and query port.

I am able to see your server using HLSW. But I was unable to add your server.

You may have to white list (in your external firewall) the Gametracker query server IPs listed in the failure message.

I don't understand white-listing. I saw the message when I received the failures, and have had the list of ip's. I just don't know where to add them, or how to. It is firewall still then. I have tried to understand white-list through web searches but cannot seem to find any applicable information.

I found the information I need to understand white-listing.

Nope. I can't white-list on the appliances that I have.
