Some servers are showing wrong country Location....

Here is the IP 139.59.28.95

Actual location is shown in ip-api.com

My Servers are Located in India and shows Australia in gametracker

This problem was also in my cod4 xlrstat website & I fixed the problem by updating Geoip.dat file in our webserver

I dont know how gametracker servers identify server locations, if it uses Maxmind's Geoip.dat , please update the file to its latest one..

It will be faster for you if you simply update the locations yourself using your server page -> Manage.

The server locations are static, and not in anyway maintained by Gametracker, though the defaults provided at the time of adding a server are from a GeoIP database.

Even if Gametracker should change the GeopIP database (or service), your server locations would not be affected.

How Can I manage the location of unclaimed server.. I dont have the permission to claim that server

Im just reporting that Geo-IP database is not accurate or displaying old GeoIp data..

Gametracker does not 'police' server locations.

You can change the location on your personal profile, and you can change location on a server you own/manage (registered here).

Thank you for your interest, but (as I said above) Gametracker simply does not maintain server location flags.
Only a server owner can change the location flag.

GameTracker periodically updates its GeoIP database. I cannot give you any sort of timeframe on when that will be, nor have it done on demand for you. There is also no guarantee that will "solve" your problem, either.

Anyway its not a problem to me

I just given an example of such ip.. There are lot of other IPs that got sorted under wrong country
[Most of us searches servers using the country Filter]
