hi

I just want to report that my account always display a envelope noting 1 unread message right next to the login box regardless of how many times I check my private messages. hopefully, at least it works on always showing one plus the number of unread messages I have altough it would be great if you could fix this.

Do you have multiple pages of PM's? Have you opened each page to check if that resolves it? Perhaps you received a lot of PM's in one day and one made it to the second page before you read it.

yes, I had tried that, although I haven't went trough any page, ok, this time I just went trough each page and the notification disappeared when I moved from a old page which messages dated of around a year before and that I beleive I had read. ok, anyways, the problem is fixed now, thanks for your help

sorry to revive this thread but this was finally not fixed, most likely the last time someone just fixed it manually but automatically it keep failing. after a break I've already been back again at the site for some time (checked all the pages and that) and my account keep displaying two unread messages that I can not read, it's not a big deal but anyways please could some clear up my account's unread messages flag?

PS: now that I've been using the site again for sometime I realized that most likely the problem is related with messages I received when I was away from accounts that are actually removed in the present and thus whose messages I can no longer read because, if I'm not wrong, when someone removes a account here (or may be in some special cases, spam) their associated pms get removed, basically I believe that that's can be the issue, anyways just saying. regards
