Question about GT geolocation.

Hi,
Recently our new IPs in Australia have been registering on GT as located in the US. I am aware that we can manually change the location on GT but this is affecting a lot of our servers and I was hoping we could just solve the problem entirely. My question is does GT use it's own geolocation or go through someone like say ip2location for example. Because I'd like to get in contact and have our range updated with the right location to solve the issue.

Your service provider can request updates for incorrect locations from ARIN and third-party providers that provide this information.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.

Do you know which specifically GT uses that we can get updated? Because ARIN is reporting the right location in Australia meanwhile GT & Steam still show it as a US IP

I'm not sure, but I think it can take months sometimes for third-party services to reflect ARIN changes.

I'm pretty sure the automatically detected location only gets set when the server is added. So, in the future you might start seeing new servers under the AU flag, bug existing servers would continue to reflect US.
