Hi,
I've seen the only way to disable the forum/blog on a team is to contact via this forum. Sorry if this is incorrect, but that's what is said in the FAQ.

Please remove the blog from this team asap or provide instructions if possible.

Actually, there is no Blog on the team page.

If you meant the forum, click the HIDE button in the top-right corner of that block.
If you meant the news posts, click the HIDE button in the top-right corner of that block.
