Avatar images, clan logo, pictures etc don't show up.

Hi there, ever since I got on GT and made an account I noticed that this website has some annoying bugs. This issue was seen many times in the past and the administrators saw. By now this issue should have been resolved. The avatar image, profile background and clan logos don't render. The images show up as a question mark. I've noticed that if I create another account and receive my activation email and sign up. The images work and when I log out and log in again. no iimages render. This bug is so annoying and it's been here ever since I joined gametracker. Why aren't the admins doing anything about it????

Last question first: admins aren't developers.

Perhaps if you were to give some specific examples rather than make a general "it's broken" statement it could either be explained or fixed.

Are you referring to the feature request to support https? Please note a "feature request" is not a "bug report". Thanks!

Well, I'm not requesting any new features, I'm guessing that it's a bug. The images when uploaded do not show up, avatar images, background images, clan logos don't show up. There's basically a box with a question mark in it. That's basically what the images render as. If I clicked on anyone's profile their avatar is the blue box with a question mark.

I don't know what you meant by "feature to support HTTPS".

On the top left of someone's profile is a blue box with a question mark as the avatar. If you scroll down to the bottom of their profile, you can see the avatar is there and it's perfectly fine. If you look at my friends list, everyone's avatar is basically the blue box with a question mark. If the person has no image for an avatar if says "GT, No icon".

Can you post a screenshot?
Before doing so, I suggest trying a different browser and/or clearing your cache.

Yes I tried changing my browser and clearing the cache, I even got on a different PC and it's the same issue.

Here's what it looks like :

If you look at the profiles and clans the avatar/logo doesn't show up as an image, it's basically the blue box with a question mark.

And now if you scroll down to banners in someone's profile/clan. You can see their avatar there and the image works.

Your last two images show that you are entering the site using https.

Gametracker is not currently supporting https, though much is accessible via https, presumably for the benefit of developers and testing.

Use http://www.gametracker.com

This is the link to the topic under Ideas and Requests

Thanks, I used HTTP instead and all the images worked!
