Hi there i am trying to get my battlalion 1944 server to show on game
tracker but i get this error.



One of the following suggestions may help you:
Your server is currently offline.
GameTracker needs your server to be online before you can add it to our database. Please restart your server and make sure it's up before hitting ADD SERVER again.
You entered the wrong query port.
Please update your query port and hit scan again
Your server is firewalled.
Please turn off any firewall you have that may block scanning or whitelist the gametracker scanning IP addresses:

is there anything you can do to sort this or is the on the server side of things.

My server will not add or shows as down, what should I do?

Always start with making sure that the query port specified is correct. Whether it be entered incorrectly or firewalled incorrectly, most issues with game servers being added have to do with the query. This is especially true if you can connect to the game server just fine, otherwise.

If this is a dedicated or virtual server, you can usually disable the Windows Firewall temporarily, to verify whether or not it is a config query issue of some sort.

If it's a server from a game server provider, some will share the IP for many game servers, but utilize different ports. In the case of Killing Floor 1/2 and even Minecraft, the join port is usually different from the query port. You can find what it's set to from within the configuration files. I'm not familiar with Battalion 1944 so I won't lie to you about something that may or may not work, but this is definitely the first rung of the ladder.
