That seems very odd.
As I said above, I changed the query port to 7784. If it were for the wrong server, the server name in GT should have updated to the the correct name for that query port. In any case it would have prevented your server and its history from being dropped from GT until a correct solution was found, which it appears GS has done. All to the good ultimately I suppose.
