Domain "does not resolve" when trying to add new server.

Hello,

We recently got a new TeamSpeak3 server, It's been up for a couple days now so I would assume any DNS propagation has already occurred. Although the domain link "tyrianebula.teamspeak.ninja" worked almost immediately to connect using TeamSpeak - many of us have used it without a problem since.

When I try to add the server to GT - I simply get

INVALID DOMAIN NAME
The domain name you entered does not resolve.

Obviously if it works it should resolve somehow.

I'm thinking maybe due to .ninja TLD?

Please advise,

Is your example spelled correctly? It doesn't seem to be pointing to an IP on my end, which could be just temporary.

If you have set the A record properly, you may need to wait 24-48 hours. You may also need to review http://www.gametracker.com/games/ts3/forum.php?thread=42258
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.

That is definitely the right name. It does work and resolve in TeamSpeak although no other test resolves the address. Whether we ping or use DNS Propagation check - they fail at resolving the domain.

It's very weird that TeamSpeak is somehow beyond DNS and can figure out where the server is? ...

I have opened a support ticket with the host to see if they can add an A record or to confirm if/when it was added - the address was working like I said almost immediately after the server was rolled out.

I received an answer that the name is not a typical DNS name but a TSDNS - which does not resolve typically like DNS names.

Is GameTracker unable to accept TSDNS names? As it sounds, there's no way for us to add the server at this point.

Nevermind, I was able to add using the DNS link I was assigned, had to dig it up from their CP.
