Server tags are a feature server owners can select on their server pages to make it easier to find servers of a specific type easier.

To request a tag, please include the following:

Game(s) applicable
Tag(s) requested
What the tag refers to (eg. game mode, mod, etc.).

What types of things work well as tags?

Game modes - ex. Zombies, Capture the Flag, Search and Destroy
Server features - ex. Punkbuster, Ranked, Official, Hardcore
Major mods - ex. Zombies, Pam, etc.

What types of things do NOT work well as tags?

Clan names - tags are not an ad
Map names - there is already a search for this
Minor mods - if every mod was listed, the tag list would be massive
Non-feature related - the tag feature is not designed to find clans "recruiting", clans looking for "scrims", etc.
