Hi Last month I added my Minecraft network to Game Tracker. However it would seem larger networks that use proxies such as BungeeCord to tie their servers together are un-welcomed. Servers that run through BungeeCord must be set into offline mode, so opening the ports to individual servers on the network is a security risk. We keep those ports closed to force players to go through the proxy and use legitimate accounts only. Since GameTracker is incompatible with this kind of setup, and there was not indication that this would be an issue until I tried to claim the server, I have been unable to claim my server here. So I ask that game tracker please be more compatible for networked server setups, or please remove my listing.

You're more than welcome add your interest with the other user who was interested in bungeecord support http://www.gametracker.com/forums/forum.php?site=1&thread=98367 Of course, there is no reason to be so negative that this particular feature has so little interest from server owners compared to other features coming in the future.
You are in no way obligated to track your server on GameTracker and you're more than welcome of prevent that from happening. We also did mention that bungeecord may break the standard query protocol in the minecraft help guide that you may have missed. Of course your network security is always your responsibility and making game servers available to the public is your choice. ![]() |
