It's enough to drive a person crazy.
I will be lucky if I get this posted. Please note; I do not have any problems with any other websites, irc, email or other internet based connections. Neither am I using any form of proxy to access your site. I am constantly getting the message; Connection timed out The initial connection between CloudFlare's network and the origin web server timed out. As a result, the web page can not be displayed. Ray ID: 23077a5e7d4208d8 Your IP address: x.x.x.x Error reference number: 522 CloudFlare Location: London I also find the constant 'checking of my browser' a real issue as in: Checking your browser before accessing gametracker.com This process is automatic. Your browser will redirect to your requested content shortly. Please allow up to 5 seconds... This alleged 'protection' stops any automatic updating of the server details / player statuses, and requires constant page refreshing while CloudFlare determines if I am committing a ddos attack. This really is a substandard service and a constant interference with normal web site usage. Can not something been done? This service is really not working well at all. Thanks I am a community user. I do not reply to private message requests for support. Hint: I do not accept (or reply to) personal requests for re-ranking or unbanning. You must use the forums please. The CloueFlare message does not show up every request. If it does, you either do not allow JavaScript or your cookie settings are too strict.
You may also want to try flushing your DNS or running CCleaner. But no, the CloueFlare DDOS protection is not permanent. Hopefully this should completely resolve your issue, because no one else is reporting a problem at the moment. ![]() |

Burn, thanks for the reply.
Not surprisingly, the "Connection timed out" etc. message was temporary, though it lasted a few hours, and has returned a few times for brief periods since I originally posted. However, the "Checking your browser before accessing gametracker.com" continues. This has been a regular 'feature' for some months now. It appears to be required to run about once per hour, irrespective of any recent browser or gametracker site activity on my part. Owing to the nature of the browser based business applications that I must run, my security settings could not be more relaxed without entering the realms of stupidity. cache and cookie clearing and restarting has not made any difference.
