(Yes, this is posted in the correct section of the forum, as it's a request that you start listening to your users, especially those like me who pay.)

I posted a forum post last week requesting that the GameTracker Gamespy Crysis Wars server scanning be fixed, only for the thread to be closed and burn reply 'Contact the game's developers'.

I gave all the information you needed to verify that this is a GameTracker problem, so why can't you be bothered to fix it?

Here's an excellent idea: fix your stuff.
Server tracking is the core purpose of this website (no, don't try to say that it's a 'social network for gamers', because it really isn't), so why can't you be bothered to fix what's broken?

I'm not the only one who's had the 'can't be asked to fix' reply either; there are several posts regarding broken server tracking that is caused by GameSpy's tracking being broken- it seems your policy is simply to close these posts and claim that it has nothing to do with GameTracker.

Please could you stop this policy and actually investigate the issues?

Knowing GameTracker, this post'll be locked and I'll be banned, and if that happens that'll just go to show what kind of people run GameTracker.

Posted to my blog as well: http://mgnconflict.co/2016/01/18/gametracker-tracking-the-money-not-gameservers/

Seriously, fix it, or at least provide a reason why you won't fix it. There's no problem with the game as other gameserver tracking services are able to scan it; why not GameTracker?

Again, please contact the game developers to request they implement a brand new query protocol. Basically, like the ARMA devs did for their games.

Congratulations on your blog!

Edit: Your temporary ban due to the subsequent spam posted hours after this topic has been lifted. Continued spam will make that permanent.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.
