Would appreciate if anyone could help, a little upset and want people to know this isn't a server you tend to want to join

Long story short, friends and I were blamed at exploiting a roof glitch? Which I am still learning this game and unfamiliar and my friends are completely new and starting/learning. After being blamed I reached the admin and he seemd really cool about it in the morning and then all of sudden took a change of mind later on that night, he ended up spawning multiple helis at my friends while i was off and when i tried to speak with him his story and reasonings seemed to change fairly often.

If you guys can give light to this issue for me it would be awesome, I know i should have just left the server, or I shouldn't be angry or upset since it's rust, or since I joined a modded server, but my friends and I have spent a good amount of hours these passed week, and they took the time to learn only to lead to someone doing this. I will be looking for more red flags on joining servers but all the help needed would be awesome!
