Merging a new server

Hello,

We recently moved hosts and obtained a new IP, pointed our DNS record towards the new IP.

The pervious gametracker was set to example.com, which eventually started tracking the new IP/server, but had no previous stats, the server owner then 'claimed' that page. Hoping the stats would transfer like it mentions via DNS transfer from the old server page (which has reverted to an IP to track it). They still haven't.

Will the stats eventually transfer or will it be lost because the example.com hostname was claimed as a 'new server'?

The rank has updated, but the top player data has not transferred

When you use the DNS feature, rank and player stats go to the new IP. Both go (assuming historical player stats exist), not one or the other. If the new page already exists, the original page replaces the content of the new page - the two pages are not merged.

If you have any other questions you will need to provide specific pages, old and new.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.

Cheers for the reply,
This is the old page, which no longer exists:
http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/103.43.75.71:27015/
(Which also used the same url as the page I link below, I am just referencing the IP for hope it helps)
This is the new page, with the same URL but claimed again:
http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/tttserver.arcadiaservers.com:27015/
The rank has come with:
"Game Server Rank: 346th (93rd Percentile)"
But the player data is no longer there, only 3 pages now with no data. Yet other data exists

I'm not sure, nothing obvious is standing out. The only thing I can think of is if you used the Migrate Stats feature first which moves only player stats. That would cause them to get overwritten by the DNS change.

Is there a chance you are able to restore the player stats?

I managed to at least take a screenshot for nostalgic purposes, just in case it's not possible and it's lost forever. But people are very passionate about their stats, so I'm hoping it's possible.
Thanks for your help either way.

If it helps, I can see the data still exists somewhere when I click my name:

If you're on this page, it's not live.

"This page is updated daily."

Deleted stats are generally not recoverable. It is certainly not recoverable if you Migrate Stats then overwrite them with the DNS change. If that player listing doesn't go away in a day or two or you are seeing this somewhere else, feel free to reply back on it.
