So I've seen this occur over many different games Such as RTCW, Quake 3 Team Area, COD, and CSGO.

If you are spectating someone that is playing, your score will be added to the main score list within GameTracker. I have also witnessed this occurrence being taken advantage of by players who want to 'appear' in the list as #1.

I would hope that GameTracker might be able to fix this.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

I would point out that Gametracker scanners can have no idea who is actually playing, and who is spectating if the game does not report it.

The Quake 3 engine certainly does not provide such detail, and it would therefore be impossible for Gametracker to know or report it.

We have to conclude then that this is not a Gametracker 'bug' but a lack of functionality in the game engines.
