blackwind sent him that screen. He is going through all those boost sites and banning servers listed in them. My suspicion is that some of them exist only to be checked and be used as "de ranking" service of legit servers.

I can assure you that my servers are not in need of being boosted. They have been around for 17 years way before people provided these "boosting" sites.

My servers have acquired critical mass and survive on their own. Paying money to these kind of sites would be a total waste of money unless the party doing it knew that it would get my server banned.

I don't know how to prove that I did not pay for any kind of boosting sites since the lack of something is usually hard to prove.

People have spend money on ddos services in order to hurt my servers, this seems like a very effective way as well. The only winner in this scenario is the fake "boosting" site because my only option is to retaliate on the other servers by buying this "boosting" service in order to get them unranked, so the service itself becomes the opposite of a "boosting", it becomes a payed service to de-rank servers on gametracker.

Maybe you have any suggestions on how I could prove my innocence in this situation?

So basically from what I read it turns out we are getting deranked for something that every small server owner asks their players to do - buy boost for his IP in exchange for VIP or admin status, only that now besides getting their servers artificially full, they are using it against well established gaming chains like ours.

What can we actually do to protect ourselves?
Also why aren't the countless romanian and russian servers deranked which even advertise boosting services in their description or hostname?

Please either change that policy or at least make it fair for everyone, thank you!

So condensed you are saying "you haven't de-ranked everyone who is using boost, so you should re-ranks us"

Would you like it if the police and prisons released all the criminals, because there were some they had not caught yet and that is "not fair"?

Let us please not be absurd.

I am having the same problem that @placek86 (previous post #10). We didn't add our servers on that website and I believe that web owner or random users from another servers pay for add our servers there and get deleted from gametracker with those screenshots.

I request GameTracker to change policies or rules to avoid that, and check if servers are really using fake players because is not fair that old servers get deranked for competition.

Sorry but you totally misunderstood me.

We are the oldest counter-strike community in my country, all our players are mature people. You can check our website at http://www.sector.bg

We have always had our own dedicated billing system for buying VIP extras via SMS, Paypal etc., take a look at http://bill.sector.bg

Offering VIP or admin in exchange for boost or something else is a thing that kiddie servers do, and I couldn't care less if they do it or not, but recently it seems they have started to use it offensively to derank other servers via some crappy website.

The last thing we need are a bunch of foreign kids which started pouring from those boosts.
