a lot of times i reported servers with wrong Country location
as i understend you need only update IP database

just a one question

why u dont care about giving to players wrong information about server?

nobady cares why u dont enforce location...
when users searshing servers, they search by there locations.. (99%) im sure...
its too easy for any webmaster make some code for resolve IP location from https://www.maxmind.com/... anyway when user adding server to GT its automaticaly resolve location, just change it or update that IP database which are you using...

just a simple answer on a simple question...

you dont need to enforce servers one by one, u need simple code, for check NEWADDED servers IP in DB, wich can make any webmaster...
or update that IP DB which are you using now...

i dunno how GT web engine works but as i know there is two ways for enforce IP location
its...

through other webpage...
or
using IP DB

question:

why you dont change that IP enforcer web ?
or
why you dont update your current IP DB ?

(depends which method using GT web engine)



P.S. you dont need to enforce servers one by one its will do WEB engine

That would be an incorrect assessment as I comprehend completely.

However; I provided a link to the site policy.

Regardless of what could be, it is how the owner(s)/manager(s) wish it to be.
I don't make policy, I simply follow it, and try to provide the information to members when asked.

This question has been asked and answered numerous times in the past.
As you can see, the FAQ post is over 6 years old; If the management wished to change this, I think they have had sufficient time to do so by now.

Just to be clear, the location is not enforced, simply defaulted.
The page owner may change the location when they take ownership. It then remains 'locked' for 7 days.
There may be a better database for initial location assignment, but that is left to the developers to determine (as far as I know).
