The claim process is clear, and I know the claim process is what I must go through again in order to transfer the server from its existing owner to the new owner account.

My question is: Will this reset anything about the player history or stats?

I would like to transfer ownership of the server, but if player stats will be lost, I might choose to leave it under the old owner for now. I couldn't find confirmation in the FAQs of whether transfer of an existing owned server would keep or reset any of the information gametracker.com has for the existing server.
