Hello folks,

I have noticed that for the past week or so none of the Insurgency Sandstorm Server Trackers seem to be working. I joined a friends server to play, and when I went to their GameTracker Server page, none of the players that were active appeared on the Tracker.

I then went and looked in the Sandstorm Tracker category, and none of the servers seem to have any players in them. Which is kind of weird to see, as this one of the more popular games on GT.

I waited a few days after that and tried joining my friends server again, and noticed that there was no change. The servers still aren't being tracked properly.

I think it's a bug, so I am posting here in the Bug Report section in hopes it can be fixed.

This is still an issue..

You haven't provided a description of what you believe the issue to be.
All of the server pages I have opened report that they were recently scanned.

They may be scanning servers, but they don't report back any players.

In any of the 100+ Servers on the list.

As I said in my first post,

The trackers are NOT tracking active players in the Server.

I discovered this by joining a friends server to play,

Then coming over here to look at the tracker.

It DOESN'T display the players that are in the server at that time.

Since it doesn't track players anymore, the score for each player on a

Servers tracker never goes up either.

This has been broken since a recent update to the game (that happened in July)

I really don't know how better explain this..

Join a Server that is on the tracker,

Play for 10 minutes or so

Come back to the Tracker and notice.. It DOESN'T show any players in that server, for ALL of the servers on this website.


TL;DR

The trackers no longer show who is in the server, even though they are joined to the server at that time.

To reproduce this bug, join any server on the Ins list, play for a few minutes, then check the tracker for that server. You won't be listed as playing.

If it were not for the game being listed here on GT I would not even know the game existed, ever.
So no, I cannot join a server to see for myself.

Gametracker tracks over 100 games / game mods and chat programs.
This is presumably one of the reasons we ask for details; "Please include enough context and links to describe the problem." because not everyone will have every game or other software installed.

Also, I am a forum moderator, not a developer or admin.
All I can do is bring this to the attention of an admin now that I understand what the issue is perceived to be.
