It's a shame gametracker doesn't differentiate betweeen MOH and BC2 (some GSP's allow switch over), meaning clans can basically have the same stats for both games. Therefore creating a false ranking system IMO and pretty pointless.
It used to be that if you switched gametype the server would appear offline on current banner. With BC2 to MOH switch they still appear online. Only difference is the maps pics don't work. Also please read: http://www.gametracker.com/forums/forum.php?site=1&thread=46603 issue is not yet resolved.

I believe BC2 and MOH have the same query protocol, so there is no issue when scanning one as the other. This is how it has always been - if a COD1 server went down and a COD2 server went up later, it still scanned fine because the protocols were the same.

hmm so its ok that stats and player names that are recorded on MOH server appear in server stats as BC2?
Basically whats happening is unless server is removed from gametracker the server stats continue to record for initial game. Even if the server is switched to MOH. |

Its true that, after a game change, the old player/stats data will be retained for the server. You can manually reset that data by claiming the server and using the server's admin page. We may consider automatically removing the player data on a server game change in the future.
We are in the process of implementing additional checks to prevent servers from being mislabeled with the wrong game type. I'm looking into the other issue now. |
