I was curious as to whether popularity(number of people playing) is the only thing that causes a server to rank up? When gametracker counts the number of people in a server for rank/statistics/etc., does it differentiate between those actively playing and those who are merely spectating or just a lump sum of those currently on the server? I couldn't find any information on the guidelines for just the server ranking.
Thank you for any clarification you can give me! |

Server popularity is what determines server rank. A greater proportion of your server rank is due to recent activity (past week or so) but overall, the rank is determined from data in the past month.
GT does not differentiate between spectator and player. I am not sure how may games provide this information in a server query either. ![]() |
