Hi biondo,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with GT Lite crashing on the latest version of Snow Leopard. Lets see if we can get to the bottom of this. I just upgraded to 10.6.5 and ran through some common tests with the program. It has remained stable to this point. Let me make sure I'm understanding the issue correctly. The following is happening on your mac: 1. You start GT Lite (double click in Finder) 2. The "Sign On" window is not displayed. Instead GT Lite pinwheels. Is this correct? Additionally, you could try one of the following. 1. Uninstall GT Lite. Delete the "/Applications/GameTracker" folder. Then download the latest version from http://www.gametracker.com/downloads/ (1.3.3) and reinstall. 2. Reset the GT Lite to the factory default configuration. Be warned, deleting these files will delete any custom games or servers you have added to GT Lite. So in this case, I would recommend renaming. The GT lite configuration files are stored in "/Users/YOUR_USER_NAME/GameTracker". To reset them, exit GT Lite. Wait for the GT Lite process to end. And rename the "GameTracker" folder previously mentioned to something else, for example "GameTracker2". If this remedies the problem, I can look for a permanent solution if you send me the contents of this folder. |
