Changing server IP and keep old stats

Dear Sir/Madam,

We want to change the IP of a running server to a new IP, but we would like to keep the (old) statistics on gametracker. When we use "manage" by using gametracker there is no option to change the IP.

We already found the topic: http://www.gametracker.com/forums/forum.php?site=1&thread=42545

Can I change the IP, Port, Query port, or game of a server page?

There is no feature to transfer statistics to a new server page or just modify the IP : Port of an existing page. If you have a new IP or join port, you must add the new combination.

If your server is just as popular at the new IP, you will jump up in the rankings back to where you would have been. If your server is not as popular, it will go down to the same ranking in either situation - if the servers old rank was kept or if the server started at a low rank. Ranking is determined from a one month time period, so the server will be to where it should be in the ranking very quickly.

Is it possible to let a moderator or admin change the IP and keep the old rankings? Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Team Die Hard Servers

Thats a whole different server log and ip they would have to dump the running stats in your new servers logs using either FTP or get right in there by working with ya.

Thats the only way i can see that happening, or else its a no go.

The question has already been answer in the original post along with many other threads on the forum.
I am retired from GameTracker after 11 years and will not be responsive for support requests.
