When I try and add my banner code to my website, the only thing that shows up is the raw code itself.
I have no idea why, and no one is willing to help me.

That would imply that the website system you are posting in does not support that format or is being display improperly. If its a cms software, make sure you are using the correct BBCode or HTML code. If your software only allows BBCode, you will not be able to use the HTML banner in that spot.
