Gametracker records games that I am not playing

Hi,

here is my profile page http://www.gametracker.com/profile/Disgruntled_Sheep/

I only created my gametracker account recently, but already I have a strange issue. I have not played Half life 2 for months now (long before I created my GT account) and am playing a lot of Counter Strike Source. Why is GT recording me playing so much HL2, but shows about 3 hours of CSS?

I recently gifted a copy of HL2 to a friend of mine, I thought it might have had something to do with that, but I know that he has no net access for a week at the moment. Has my account somehow been crossed with someone else's?

Also probably worth mentioning that I have installed GT lite and it runs when I play CSS. If I click "my profile" from GT lite, it brings me to my profile page that has all of the HL2 stats on it.

Thanks for any help

Hi disgruntled sheep,

Thanks for the detailed description, you described the problem accurately. Based on your description, this may be an issue with the current version of GT Lite.

Is "Half Life 2", "Half Life 2 Episode 2" and "Counter Strike Source" displayed on your GT Lite games list? If so, please try the following.

1. Close any games that you are playing.
2. Open the GT Lite "Settings" window. (Edit menu -> Settings).
3. Click the "Games" tab.
4. From the "Game Setup" list, select "Half Life 2", click "Edit Game..."
5. When the "Edit Game" window opens, uncheck "Track game events" and "Enable screenshots".
6. Click "OK" on the "Edit Game" window.
7. Repeat steps 4-6 for "Half Life 2 Episode 2".
8. Click "OK" on the "Settings" window.

Once that is done, stats should no longer get tracked for HL2, thus making your CSS stats more accurate.

Let me know if this helps your issue.

I do not provide support over PM. Please ask your questions on the GameTracker forums.
