I am listed on gametracker, but when i tried to register here with my name which is listed it said the name was already taken, so i just created this other account with the underscore postfixed to my name. Is there anyway to get these merged?

Unfortunately there is no way to have two separate accounts with the same username. We cannot give you another user's account.

Sorry, I must have stated my request poorly. I am both accounts. I do not want two accounts. I just want one. My player name shows up here, but I have no access to it. There is just one person associated with both accounts currently. I would like it to be just one. Anything that can be done?

I would be happy to have this account ("wascallyWabbit_") zapped and the one simply called "wascallyWabbit" assigned to my email account. I'm not sure how it was created here in the first place. I remember once someone in the game typing !register for me or somesuch, but perhaps they didn't realize I hadn't set up an account first? They both refer to me, but I can't log in here as my game player name as things are now.

You can go into the account settings for the account you are on now and close it. Then, simply log in to your other one and you are all set.

I cannot log into the account settings for my player account. That's the whole problem. When I put in my email address to reset the password, it only finds this other account.

You would need to enter the email address that was used to create that account. Do you remember registering it or are you just guessing that it is yours?

I know for sure that it's me, because it tracks my game progress perfectly. I think someone else registered me once when I was asking how to register, perhaps some admin of the fsk405 server, where I tend to hang out, but when I put in my email address it said that email wasn't registered on gametracker (this is before I created this other account so that I could post to the forum to ask about all this).

There may be no email address attached to the account, so that's why I'm asking here to see if an admin can do something to help me out.

If you want to verify that it's really me, I could start up UT and then join any game server of your choice and I could, I don't know, discuss it further with you there. Then you'd know that it's really me.

If it's a giant pain, then I understand. It's not a huge deal, just thought it would be fun to have a proper account on this site.

It is not possible to have no email address on the account. If it is your account, it would have to be an email address you would have used.

The account you mention is not tracking any game progress, so it is not at all true when you said "it tracks my game progress perfectly." Secondly, unfortunately I do not have UT nor does that have anything to do with this.

That account has the user's location as canada, while yours is the US

What I was saying in the previous post is that the two profiles have different location flags; It is not possible to have an account with no email address entered; and there is nothing on either profile to show any game activity and while I am not sure, I would guess there is no personal information that could be verified by you.

Since GameTracker.com user accounts have nothing to do with in-game accounts; they are separate from any game username system. For example, if you register on GameTracker.com, your username works for GameTracker.com (and also the GSC client). If you register a steam account, your username works with steam and anything else that might be associated with that. Also, if you play a game that does not require registration of a username, the nickname you play under is likely not saved anywhere besides logs.

Therefore, if you play under the name wascallywabbit in some game, this does not automatically imply you have an account at GameTracker.com, a completely separate entity.

However, if the account wascallywabbit on GameTracker.com is actually one you have registered, you can use the forgot password feature. If the email address used is not your main address now, think back to any old email addresses you have had.

Additionally, many usernames are desired by many people. For example, let us look at how many users may want the username "burn" http://www.gametracker.com/search/?search_by=online_offline_player&query=burn . Additionally, look at http://www.gametracker.com/player/burn/ and note that over 90% are not me. Obviously not each gamer could register the username "burn" at GameTracker.com. For this reason, people add letters or numbers to the username to get a similar name. For example, since burn is taken, they may try burn11, or burnburn, or something else. If it is not actually your username, you will either have to use the username you currently have or change it to something like wascallywabbit23.
