posted in the COD:WAW forums first but it seems unactive so reposting here in hopes of replies:So i just downloaded this, and when i try to join a server through the website it launches the singleplayer mode, and i can't find a way to change it. anyone who can tell me how? oh and i bought it from steam.

Are you on a Windows platform, or Mac?

We will double check that CODWW launches servers correctly from the website and update this thread shortly.

In the meanwhile, please ensure that you are running the latest version of the GT Lite software (Client version: 1.3.3, Gameslist version: 1.3.5).

It appears that the steam version of CODWAW cannot launch directly into a server at this time. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. I will update this thread whenever I receive more information on the topic.

Since I have purchased COD WAW on dvd, would you recommend going back to the dvd format? When I reinstalled it I was forced onto STeAM when lining up PB A&B. I try linking to FP Seelow Heights and most of the time I get kicked b/c of high ping rate. Since I've put GT LITE on it seems to be better, but it still takes about 7 tries before I get on. The weekend will be the real test, since that's where I have the most difficulty.

I doubt the your high ping rate and game distribution are related. Steam or DVD shouldn't matter.
