I sincerely believe that my usual user account with Gametracker.com (Not the one I've created to post this report) is munged, in that my long used password is not being accepted, and repeated attempts to recover/change the password utilizing Gametracker's user account Password Recovery system during the past couple of months have all failed in that no email purportedly sent to my email address by that system ever arrives.
I've exchanged several private messages with Gametracker representative "burn" during the past few days. He has verified that although the Password Recovery system works for him, that the email messages purportedly being sent by that system to the email account associated with the affected user account are either not being sent, or for some other reason are not being received, while email from his email address, and other email addressed are arriving correctly. I do not want to share the affected user name/account details in public. I believe that I have provided sufficient evidence to burn via private messaging that I do in fact own the affected user account, and the associated email account. Unfortunately, he apparently doesn't have the access privileges needed to remedy the problem and suggested that I report the problem as a bug in this forum. I'm in a real Catch-22 situation here. I'm politely asking that someone at Gametracker.com in possession of the necessary privileges, work with me and/or burn in PRIVATE to remedy the situation. burn has the name of the affected account, my personal information, and can verify the existence of the problem. Thank you. |

I don't see any errors in the mail script. Are you sure you are not blocking incoming mail from GameTracker.com or having that mail forwarded into a spam/trash folder or automatically deleted upon receipt?
I don't have any issue logging into this account with the details provided by Burn. Please send me a private message with what you believe is the correct information for your inaccessible account: username password |
