i join the website last night and was wanted to claim a server for my guild, but i not sure what i have to do to do this. is there anyway of getting admin of the server for free? or do i have to buy an premium account to do so?

You cannot claim a server you do not own. However, if the server is yours, you do not need a premium subscription to claim it.

If one of the GT Premium plans interests you, you can pay for one of those. Else, you can also check out GameServers.com (click the image in my sig) subscriptions that you can choose different size servers and get 24/7 support.
